Responsibilities
The Systems Architect is responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient systems that enable operational excellence and continuous improvement
During the transition, they will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze existing documentation, assess current-state systems, and identify opportunities to optimize processes and system performance
This includes architecting and refining CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable, and secure application delivery while embedding automation and security controls throughout the development lifecycle
By integrating DevSecOps principles across development, security, and operations teams
Lead efforts to foster collaboration, streamline workflows, and reduce inefficiencies
Responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments, embedding compliance and risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring the architecture supports scalability, flexibility, and security
Additionally, the role promotes iterative development and continuous review to drive operational improvements and maintain alignment with organizational goals
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D
Must be a US Citizen
Must have active Public Trust clearance
Experience with analyzing documentation, current state systems
Experience architecting and refining pipelines
