Sr. Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)
Novul Solutions is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (Sr. ISSO) to support a mission-critical program. In this role, you'll oversee the security posture of classified systems, enforce cybersecurity policies, and guide compliance efforts under DoD RMF and NIST standards.

Responsibilities
Maintain the operational security posture for assigned systems, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures
Coordinate, implement, and enforce cybersecurity standards, methodologies, and system security policies
Assist in day-to-day security operations and system administration duties
Evaluate and recommend security tools and solutions that meet classified information protection requirements
Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments to support accreditation and security decisions
Lead efforts in preparing security documentation including SSPs, SRTMs, Risk Assessment Reports, and C&A packages
Manage configuration changes and assess security impacts of modifications to systems
Support authorization activities aligned with DoD RMF and NISCAP requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related discipline
12+ years of relevant professional experience, including:
7+ years as an ISSO supporting IC or DoD programs of similar scope and complexity
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance (required)
DoD 8570 IAM Level II or IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP, or equivalent)
