Responsibilities
Support laboratory housekeeping activities, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas and Waste handling per biosafety procedures
Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and data integrity standards, including 21 CFR Part 11
Participate in training activities and demonstrate understanding of SOPs before performing tasks independently
Assist with Laboratory Inventory check
Prepare work instructions for operation & maintenance of laboratory equipment and other procedures, as needed
Laboratory Data Management:
File, scan, and archive laboratory records in accordance with document control procedures. Perform accurate data entry into electronic systems (e.g., LIMS, spreadsheets, or document repositories). Verify completeness and legibility of records prior to filing. Maintain organized electronic and hard copy filing systems to support audits and inspections. Ensure data integrity by following ALCOA+ principles (Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, Accurate)
Schedule calibration, qualification, and validation of laboratory equipment by qualified external service providers, as needed
Undertake any other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in bioengineering, biotechnology, or sciences (e.g., chemistry, biology, biochemistry, microbiology)
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Hands-on approach, with a ‘can do' attitude
Ability to prioritize, demonstrating good time management skills
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment
Self-motivated, with the ability to work proactively using own initiative
Committed to learning and development
Strong PC literacy required; MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time
