Start in 2026 FallGulfstream Aerospace, a division of General Dynamics, offers collegiate associates an opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-world challenges in the aerospace industry. As an intern in the Airframe Structural Design Engineering team, you will work on meaningful projects that support aircraft design and FAA certification, gaining hands-on exposure to industry tools and processes.

Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded); must be listed on resume
Minimum duration: 12–14 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall)
Must work onsite; this is not a remote position
Must have reliable transportation
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Preferred
Experience with CAD tools and ability to interpret engineering drawings and models
Understanding of structural mechanics and materials (metallics and composites)
Strong analytical thinking and engineering problem‑solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork, including cross‑functional collaboration
Ability to manage tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
Passion for aviation and aircraft design
