VP Operations

Crane Company is a rapidly growing leader in the supply of pumps critical to wastewater treatment. The Vice President of Operations will oversee all operational functions, including supply chain and manufacturing, while leading continuous improvement activities within the organization.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with the functional leadership team in the development of CP&S’s growth strategies and translates that into operational goals and objectives for each site. Establish key measurements and develop/implement plans to achieve targets
Provide oversight, development, and leadership for an operations organization of approximately 175 salaried and hourly associates
Leveraging the Crane Business System, champion CP&S’s deep continuous improvement culture to deliver breakthrough operational and commercial improvement
Lead CP&S’s quality organization and the execution of our well-established ISO 9001-2015 Certified quality management system and integration of IATF 16949 standards in operations
Utilize strategic sourcing processes to develop a high-performing supply chain, with a focus on optimizing quality, cost, and delivery
Drives safety culture and ensures compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum of seven years of operational leadership experience, preferably in businesses that manufacture highly engineered industrial products
Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and lead a team of individuals within a manufacturing/distribution environment
Demonstrates unimpeachable ethics
Demonstrated experience deploying lean manufacturing tools to achieve breakthrough results
Technical expertise in functional areas including materials management and ERP, in addition to hands-on knowledge of Systems Controls (TQM), ISO9001, and TS16949 Core Tools
Ability to oversee multi-site operations and deliver consistent results which meet business unit plans

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or another related course of study is highly preferred
