InternUsui International Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist Intern to assist the Quality team with IATF 16949 Quality Management System activities. The role involves supporting document control processes, participating in audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Responsibilities
Assist the Quality team with IATF 16949 Quality Management System activities for Ohio and Michigan offices
Support document control processes, including reviewing, organizing, and maintaining controlled documents in accordance with IATF and customer-specific requirements
Assist as a point of contact for internal teams regarding QMS documentation and audit-related questions
Participate in IATF 16949 internal and external audits as an observer or support role
Assist with internal audit preparation, including scheduling support, audit documentation, and audit plan tracking
Help track internal and external audit findings and support corrective action follow-up activities
Assist in reviewing corrective actions to ensure they align with quality requirements and company procedures
Support training activities, including preparation of document control and quality training materials for new hires
Assist with developing and updating process documentation, work instructions, and training materials
Help track and monitor quality-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality documentation meets IATF and customer requirements
Support other Quality Assurance projects and tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate's or bachelor's degree in quality, Engineering, Business, or a related field
Interest in Quality Management Systems, auditing, and automotive manufacturing standards
Basic understanding of quality concepts or coursework related to quality systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred
Familiarity with document control systems or PLEX software is beneficial but not required
