Responsibilities

Assist with the planning, coordinating, and executing pre-event logistics, on-site event management for the Heart Walk events
Conduct pre-event outreach to attendees, conduct follow-up calls to past and current coaches/captains, top fundraising participants, and survivors to support participation
Assist with sponsor presentation preparation and gathering materials for sponsor follow-up after meetings, helping to maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Work within event support systems such as Luminate and Tableau to help manage data entry and run reports
Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing printed materials, assembling thank-you cards, and organizing event supplies
Support the planning and execution of Hands-Only CPR demonstrations, helping promote our mission of creating a world of healthier lives
Assist with volunteer management including prepping for and attending externally facing meetings (both in-person and virtual)
Conduct prospect research to generate new leads and compile information for fundraising campaigns

Required

Candidates who are seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in business, communications, nonprofit management, or event management
Must be comfortable with vendor outreach (phone calls & emails to vendors & donors)
Experience/interest in promotion, sales, or fundraising
Demonstrated skills in effective one-on-one and group communications and comfort with working professionally with all levels of community leaders, volunteers, and staff
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities involving multiple entities
Intermediate to excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and Canva
Required Equipment: Must have reliable transportation and reliable WiFi Connection
Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 8:30am-5pm
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future. For any roles working remotely, the work must also be performed inside the United States, not in a foreign country
