Responsibilities
Plans, elevations and RCPs in AutoCAD
Select and write FF&E schedules
Obtain quotes for orders; review for proper lead time, pricing delivery and freight costs; follow-up on information pertinent to specifications and orders
Prepares proposals and proposal packages including written descriptions of items
Prepare job sheets, verify job sheet information and accuracy, obtain approvals from Senior Designers
Processes purchase orders and perform status tracking
Get approvals on CFAs, finish samples and merchandise and follow up with outstanding order issues
Coordinate with vendors, clients, architects and consultants
Inspecting items at the warehouse and fabricators
Interaction with builders, architects, lighting and audio visual design firms
Specifying window treatment details for estimates, etc
Responsible for assisting with all day-to-day project management aspects as required to keep things on track
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years' experience in interior design, including at least 2 years' experience working at a high-end residential design firm
Very strong AutoCAD skills including drafting furniture plans, detailed elevations, custom cabinets, and custom furniture
Must have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture or Furniture Design
High level of detail orientation with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Good work ethic, positive demeanor, and 'do-what-it-takes' attitude
Clear communication skills, including the ability to correspond with excellent English grammar and spelling
