Mid LevelMindlance is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative contractor to support a major internal website revamp. This role will involve working closely with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution of content, focusing on content development, quality assurance, and SEO collaboration.

Responsibilities
Work with SMEs to draft, update, or refine content as needed
Advise on content structure, hierarchy, and relevance
Work with UX and IA team to ensure intuitive, logical content structure and labels
Review newly built web pages for accuracy and functionality
Document issues and work closely with developers to resolve them
Coordinate with asset providers to ensure correct files are delivered and implemented
Populate the metadata spreadsheet for web assets (e.g., images, documents) and pages
Organize and deliver assets in a structured format for developer access
Edit and refine web content for clarity, consistency, voice, and tone
Ensure alignment with editorial style guidelines and correct inconsistencies
Collaborate with SMEs to resolve content contradictions or gaps
Partner with SEO experts to understand optimization goals
Update page content to align with SEO best practices
Qualification
Required
Excellent writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience in QA for digital content or websites
Familiarity with metadata and asset management for web projects
Ability to work collaboratively with developers, designers, and SMEs
Understanding of information architecture principles
Basic knowledge of SEO and how it applies to web content
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to develop templates that follow best practices, such as setting up master slides in PowerPoint or paragraph styles in Word for consistent formatting and usability
Ability to create or edit high-quality simple graphics following brand standards, like screenshots, thumbnails, or basic icons
