Analytical Scientist

They are seeking a Bench Scientist - I to perform routine sample testing and analytical method development in support of early vaccine development within the Vaccines Early Bioprocess Analytical Development group.
Responsibilities
Perform sample preparation and testing in support of vaccine development, including bioprocess and formulation development, release, stability, characterization, and adjuvant compatibility studies
Document experiments, analyze data, and provide conclusions from sample testing and method development/qualification experiments using an electronic laboratory notebook
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation relevant to protein biochemistry
Ability to follow and adapt scientific protocols with attention to detail
Strong documentation and data interpretation skills
Effective communication and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
Good working knowledge of protein biochemistry
Experience with HPLC and/or mass spectrometry plus
Degree in scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
0-2 years' experience required
