Applications Analyst II

Responsibilities
Act as the primary application support resource for CRM, ERP, and PDM systems
Provide front-end and back-end configuration, user support, troubleshooting, and system administration
Partner with business units to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency and scalability
Design, support, and monitor system integrations using APIs and data integration tools to enable seamless data flow across platforms
Support automation initiatives using modern workflow tools (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier, n8n, Gumloop or similar)
Develop functional and technical documentation, including system processes, integration mappings, and data flows
Perform data management activities including validation, cleansing, migration, and quality assurance
Conduct system testing and regression validation for new features, integrations, and releases
Provide end-user training and support for new or enhanced systems
Support SQL-based systems through performance monitoring, basic querying, backups, and security oversight
Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to streamline business processes
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship. Permanent residents and visa holders cannot be considered
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
2–3 years of experience in an Application Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
Strong experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Hands-on experience supporting enterprise applications, preferably Salesforce CRM
Working knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and data workflows
Exposure to SQL-based systems (e.g., SQL Server Management Studio)
Experience delivering technical training to non-technical users
Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
Preferred
Experience with ERP platforms (JD Edwards strongly preferred)
Experience with PDM/PLM tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Teamcenter, Windchill)
Familiarity with low-code/no-code automation platforms
Experience supporting data migration or system modernization initiatives
Background in a manufacturing or engineering-driven environment
Prior DBA experience not required but preferred
