Responsibilities
Maintain and track submittals, RFI’s, change orders
Oversee the project submittal and RFI process. Contact subcontractors once contracts have been issued for Submittals
Process and follow up with Architects, Engineers and Designers for review and approval process
Distribute all approved submittals to back to the subcontractors, field, and management personnel
Write up, process, and send out RFI's for review and response
Reviewing construction documents, building plans and specifications
Update As-built drawings with RFI responses and changes
Prepare and oversee punch list procedures
Write up and maintain Meeting Minutes for Project Managers and team
Help develop and maintain cost, schedule, and performance objectives
Assist in meetings with the project manager and management as well as the clients to give up-to-date reports on the status of the project
Daily operations of field work activities and organization of subcontractors
Write reports and business correspondence
Close out project upon completion following company procedures
Work towards becoming a project manager
Business development
Other duties may be assigned
Qualification
Required
Broad knowledge and experience in commercial construction
Effective communication skills
Ability to collaborate with subordinates and peers as well as representatives of clients
Experience in writing bids, setting up projects, securing contracts and supporting documents
Experience in closing out projects using company procedures/paperwork
Ability to maintain and track submittals, RFI's, change orders
Experience overseeing the project submittal and RFI process
Ability to contact subcontractors once contracts have been issued for Submittals
Experience processing and following up with Architects, Engineers and Designers for review and approval process
Ability to distribute all approved submittals back to the subcontractors, field, and management personnel
