Ashley Global Retail is the largest manufacturer of home furnishings in the world, seeking an Inventory Control Associate RDC. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing and analyzing inventory reports, and supporting various departments to resolve inventory control issues.

Responsibilities

Performs Monthly cycle count in the warehouse to meet financial requirements
Publish daily cycle count results, runs reports to identify shrink for the day and reports out by end of day
Runs various daily, weekly and monthly reports that include: Use Tax; Quarterly Inventory; MTO Transfer Order; Credit Memo; Invalid Location; Zero Retail and Zero Location; Cost with System; Un-Nailed and Nailed, Bridge, etc. to ensure correct movement of merchandise and to correct any discrepancies. Documents findings/corrections and submits to the Operations Manager for review
Labeling Maintain labeling for all physical locations
Reconciles retail merchandise invoices and purchase orders . Reconciles past due purchase orders. Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy. Supports Distribution Center service representatives with billing and receiving issues
Monitors in-transit inventory and location changes in respect to store-to-store, store to warehouse and warehouse-to-store transfers
Serves as a liaison between the stores and local distribution center. Engages in quality control processes and programs
Coordinates the merchandise donation process for HomeStore-sponsored charities and/or special projects
Demonstrates the company’s core and growth values in performance of all job functions
Product movement inventory needs to be moved from one location to another
Analyze inventory transactions identify and resolve exceptions and shrinkage. Investigate and resolve inventory-related issues
Manage merchandise movement, liquidation and disposal process. Monitor in-transit inventory and location changes regarding store and warehosue transfers; manage adjustment of inventory adds and losses
Audit other employees’ transactions
Participate in departmental meetings, training, and education
Training associates from other departments on good inventory control practices

Required

Cycle counting experience in a warehouse environment
Ability to prepare and analyze inventory related reports
Experience in resolving inventory control issues
Strong communication skills for responding to emails in a timely manner
Ability to perform monthly cycle counts to meet financial requirements
Experience in running various daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
Ability to reconcile retail merchandise invoices and purchase orders
Experience in monitoring in-transit inventory and location changes
Ability to serve as a liaison between stores and distribution centers
Experience in coordinating merchandise donation processes
Ability to analyze inventory transactions and resolve exceptions and shrinkage
Experience in managing merchandise movement, liquidation, and disposal processes
Ability to audit other employees' transactions
Willingness to participate in departmental meetings, training, and education
Ability to train associates from other departments on good inventory control practices
