Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining database infrastructure utilizing DevOps principles
Automating deployment, scaling, and management processes
Implementing monitoring and alerting tools to ensure optimal database performance and availability
Collaborating with software development teams to support CI/CD pipelines
Troubleshooting database-related issues efficiently
Ensuring compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations
Seeking process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability of database operations
Managing backup, recovery, and archival processes
Supporting all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing
Writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code aligned with software design principles
Providing troubleshooting support to address complex customer issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with at least 9 years of prior programming experience or a Graduate Degree with 7 years of experience
Minimum of 13 years of relevant programming experience without a degree
Proven expertise in Linux administration
Shell scripting
Python
PowerShell
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Groovy, YAML, and JSON
Strong knowledge of Gitlab management
Database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Experience with virtualization, networking, storage management in Linux environments
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Must be U.S. citizens
