Data Analyst with Banking Experience -Tuning and optimization
Matrix USA is a global, dynamic, fast-growing technical consultancy leading technology services company. They are seeking a Data Analyst with Banking Experience to perform quantitative analysis, develop classification models, and document findings for interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
Experience in Sanctions or Fraud, or AML modeling
Strong understanding of tuning methodologies and tools
Good knowledge of banking products, processes, and systems
Ability to document model tuning, track, and report results of tuning and optimization activities to senior management and regulators
Proficiency in developing common classification models, such as logistic regressions, multinomial logit models, and tree-based machine learning (e.g., Xgboost, LightGBM, Random Forest), and comparing model performance
Expertise in Python and SQL, with the ability to work with big data and automation
Capable of developing professional Python code for data analysis, feature engineering, and statistical modeling
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform quantitative analysis to identify and resolve common data and modeling issues
Knowledge of statistical and data science concepts, and the ability to develop models and analyze their performance
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub)
Ability to work under conditions with changing priorities and multi-task effectively
Ability to document and present findings for interdisciplinary teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualification
Required
