Responsibilities
Perform analysis and detailed design of structural projects, including but not limited to bridges and miscellaneous civil related structures, which conform with acceptable design standards, and which meet the specific requirements of local and state compliancy and regulations
Prepare and review engineering calculations, sketches, and drawings and BIM Models
Be able to work on multiple projects and assume responsibility for project/task execution within required timeframes
Perform and assist in QA/QC of final design packages prior to issuing for construction
Communicate with staff and clients to provide timelines and project updates on a consistent basis
Providing both written and verbal reports to tight deadlines regarding multiple projects simultaneously
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university or college
EIT is strongly desired and PE is a plus
1 to 5 years of project experience of progressive complexity in Structural Engineering, bridge emphasis is strongly desired
Proven proficiency utilizing various computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment
Proficiency with CAD software is strongly desired
