Instrumentation Technician - Intern
Lockheed Martin is a leading technology innovation company, and they are seeking a hardworking and dedicated intern to join their Flight Test Instrumentation Technician group. The intern will assist in building and installing instrumentation/data collection systems for flight test programs, while also gaining on-the-job training in instrumentation system maintenance.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, installation, check-out and operation of custom instrumentation systems
Support efforts in building and installation of instrumentation/data collection systems for flight test programs
General lab/shop organization
Administrative tasks
Hands on installs of thermocouples, accelerometers and a variety of other electronic components/sensors
Reading wiring drawings
Troubleshooting equipment measurement anomalies
Construction of harnesses and electrical devices
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled and pursuing an Electronics Engineering Technology Associate's degree from an accredited university or junior college
Familiarity with electronic tools such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc
Must have completed one year towards college degree
Must be a US citizen
Preferred
Knowledge or exposure to installing and replacing strain gauges, accelerometers, and thermocouples desired
Knowledge or exposure to reading wiring diagrams and interpreting schematics
Knowledge or exposure to harness builds, connector pin-outs, crimping and cable installation
