Responsibilities
Managing computer media through automated processing systems to ensure accurate and timely disposition of deliveries supporting fleet activities
Responding to data processing problems, executing corrective procedures, and escalating issues that lack predefined solutions
Maintaining organized records within combat systems shipboard libraries and supporting Navy library concepts and tools such as ACCESS, VIEWNET, and DOCMS
Troubleshooting media errors, resolving data processing issues, and maintaining the integrity of data operations
Collaborating with team members and other departments to optimize data management processes
Training new team members on data handling procedures and system operations
Qualification
Required
At least one year of experience in managing, shipping, and/or receiving unclassified computer media and documentation
A high school diploma is required
Experience troubleshooting and resolving media errors and data processing problems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Effective communication skills to interact with team members and external contacts at all levels
Ability to work independently or collaboratively
Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform periodic twisting, bending, and squatting movements
