Responsibilities

Prepare, track, and monitor project budgets with accuracy and care
Maintain clear financial reporting on revenue, expenses, and project performance
Manage project-related accounts receivable
Analyze costs and trends to identify savings and reduce financial risk
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, contracts, and regulations
Support internal and external audits with organized documentation
Collaborate regularly with project managers, supervisors, and leadership to align financial and project goals

Required

Solid understanding of accounting principles and project cost tracking
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
Familiarity with contract accounting and procurement processes
Proficiency with accounting software (Sage experience is a plus)
Strong Excel skills, including financial models and data analysis
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects
Clear communicator who enjoys working with others

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of experience in project accounting or financial management
Experience supporting audits or compliance reviews
