Application Analyst

Responsibilities
The Information Services Lead will act as the primary liaison during application implementation phases, including build, configuration, testing, and go-live support, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal system performance
They will serve as the escalation point for support issues, coordinating resolution activities and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
The role involves leading process and requirements analysis, including process mapping, stakeholder analysis, and documentation of workflows for complex projects
The incumbent will develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical and business leaders, leveraging these relationships to gain insights, identify opportunities, and resolve conflicts proactively
Additionally, the role requires overseeing the development of detailed project status reports, facilitating communication among multidisciplinary teams, and managing project timelines to meet organizational objectives
The Lead will mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
They will work closely with application and compliance teams to design system processes aligned with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
The position also involves maintaining expert knowledge of Epic systems, including Nova, Galaxy, and other modules, and independently analyzing and configuring complex system designs
The role demands strong leadership in coordinating high-impact vendor changes, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring deliverables meet stakeholder expectations
The Lead will facilitate cross-team work sessions, lead focus area workgroups, and communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive leadership
They will also participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements
Flexibility to travel and work additional hours during critical periods is expected, along with the ability to develop new functionalities and lead multidisciplinary teams through various project phases
Qualification
Required
Associate's or bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or information systems
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare, business, or information systems support
Supervisory experience preferred
Project management experience of at least 2 years or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively across teams
Demonstrated capacity for leadership and mentorship
Preferred
Certification in relevant Epic modules or other healthcare IT systems
Ongoing training to stay current with software updates and new features
