Responsibilities
Conduct analytical and performance tests on raw materials, cheese, whey, and all by products; and effectively document and communicate results
Set-up, standardize and shutdown laboratory and quality related production equipment
Complete pre-operational and environmental swabbing, plating and interpretation
Perform and record daily monitoring and verification activities
Collect and test air and water samples. Prepare and ship samples as needed
Conduct routine data entry and filing of paper work
Review and sign off on CIP charts
All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures
All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program
Other responsibilities as assigned by plant FSQA leadership

Qualification
Required
High School Degree
Knowledge/understanding of chemical and physical processes relating to cheese quality
Ability to complete tasks based on standard procedures
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work cross-functionally
Basic Computer skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred
Associate's degree in Food Science or related field
SAP experience
HACCP Certification
