In this role, you will lead efforts to unify marketing and customer data across the business by establishing consistent, enterprise-wide definitions for key metrics and translating business requirements into technical logic for engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Lead the definition and unification of enterprise-wide metrics across multiple data product systems
Develop standardized definitions, data lineage, ownership, and logic for core first‑party data assets
Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand current metric usage and reconcile discrepancies
Create and maintain a centralized data dictionary or glossary to store definitions and related metadata
Translate business-approved definitions into technical requirements (SQL logic, CDP segment rules, etc.)
Partner with Data Product and Engineering teams to convert requirements into development tickets
Perform QA and validation on newly implemented segments, reports, and datasets
Support governance processes including metric ownership, change control, and quality standards
Provide recommendations to improve data consistency, accuracy, and usability across activation platforms
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Stewardship, or Data Product Management
Proven ability to define and standardize key business and customer-centric metrics (e.g., Subscriber, Active User, MQL, LTV, Churn)
Strong SQL proficiency for data exploration, profiling, and validation
Experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and tools such as Alation, Collibra, or comparable solutions
Ability to lead cross-functional alignment across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Finance teams
Excellent communication skills and experience translating business logic into technical requirements
Strong project management and documentation skills with the ability to deliver milestones independently
