IT Helpdesk Support Intern
Hanwha Philly Shipyard is seeking an IT Helpdesk Support Intern to assist with hardware, software, and application support across various platforms. The role involves responding to help desk calls, preparing and deploying hardware, and maintaining printers while ensuring adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities
Ensure that all HPSI safety procedures, rules and regulations are communicated, understood, and followed
Offer hardware, software and application support across all platforms, including PCs, Macs, iOS/Android devices, and Cisco VOIP phones
Respond to help desk calls from internal and field employees, providing problem resolution through phone, email, remote access and in-person
Prepare and deploy hardware, desktops, laptops, and mobile platforms
Maintain all printers, including deployment, troubleshooting, and supply management
Manage and coordinate support for Mobile Devices
Provide basic network hardware installation and configuration assistance
Provide basic Active Directory management and server application support
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Qualification
Required

Rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors pursuing degrees currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional and customer-focused attitude
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
