Responsibilities

Administer, support, and optimize engineering-specific applications, including Bluebeam Revu, Bluebeam Org Admin Pro, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Revit, Leica Cyclone Enterprise, Base Map Management Service (BMMS), NearMap, and Esri ArcGIS Pro
Coordinate software deployments, upgrades, and version updates for engineering applications such as Autodesk, Bluebeam, and Leica, including configuration and customization to meet engineering requirements
Evaluate emerging engineering software and hardware technologies, prepare technical assessments, and collaborate with Technology and Cybersecurity teams to review and approve software requests
Manage engineering hardware and software inventories, including license utilization tracking, identification of underutilized assets, and support for contract renewals
Assist Engineering leadership with annual software and hardware budget preparation and monitor monthly expenditures
Maintain system documentation, deliver staff training, and support onboarding for engineering software platforms
Troubleshoot application-level issues, resolve support tickets, and implement minor functional enhancements based on user feedback
Participate in interdepartmental and client meetings with PANYNJ divisions to gather requirements, provide updates, and align technology initiatives
Deliver internal “Knowledge Bar” presentations and workshops to promote best practices and increase awareness of engineering technology capabilities
Collaborate with Engineering senior management to support strategic planning, application roadmaps, and evolving operational needs
Lead task planning and prioritization, translating objectives into actionable deliverables and coordinating execution with stakeholders

Required

Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) sector, with demonstrated leadership supporting AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks Management on engineering projects
Minimum 5+ years of experience in engineering data management, including support of engineering project data workflows and management of 3D scanned point cloud data storage systems
Advanced expertise in engineering document management and project information management systems, particularly within large, complex infrastructure environments
Demonstrated proficiency (5+ years) in PDF production and markup tools, including Adobe Acrobat Pro and Bluebeam Revu, supporting collaborative review workflows
Strong system analysis skills, including the ability to generate detailed reports on software license utilization and application usage across enterprise environments
Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure Data Lake storage environments used for engineering data archiving
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI, with the ability to produce clear documentation, analytical reports, and data visualizations
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project demands
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of supporting technical documentation, training delivery, and stakeholder collaboration

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) certification
Experience supporting Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) teams across large-scale engineering projects
Prior experience working with public-sector or transportation agencies, particularly PANYNJ or similar organizations
