Responsibilities
Work closely with and assist engineers in the conduct of various manufacturing engineering assignments
Carry out basic work instructions
Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers
Complete assigned tasks on time
Gather and assemble data for engineers
Assist in creating and updating Mfg Assembly Instructions and Routes under engineering supervision
Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers
Assist engineers with appropriate design reviews and assembly processes
Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network
Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering tasks, methods, programs and practices
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a 4years engineering degree preferably in (ME, MFG, IE or EE)
Be at least a Junior or Senior at the time of application with a 3.0 GPA or better
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to solve complex problems using your natural curiosity
Work effectively as a member of a team or on individual tasks
U.S. Citizenship required
This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
