They are seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide national service and support for FT-IR, NIR, and Raman spectroscopy systems, including installation, maintenance, and user familiarization.

Responsibilities

National Service & Support on-site for FT-IR, NIR- and Raman-Spektroscopy systems as well as other technologies
Installation, repair, maintenance, upgrades, system diagnoses, relocation support
Process-Integration of analytical instruments
Network integration of analytical systems with dedicated software solutions
Familiarization of users with instruments and applications
If needed: support the remote-solution center
On request: support of in-house repairs
If needed: support with Service relevant document generation
Frequent travel and overnight stays are required

Qualification

Required

Degree in electronics/electric/mechatronic or comparable experiences
Solid technical knowledge in electronics, mechanics, ideally in optics as well
Proven track record in FT-IR, NIR-, Raman-Spectroscopy as well as remote diagnoses and/or microscopy is a clear plus
Field Service experience
Fluent in German, solid English in speech and writing
