Responsibilities

Own two Vehicle System Engineering sprint teams; set agile rituals, backlog priorities, and sprint goals
Maintain and govern the Vehicle Network database, track signals, gateways, bandwidth, latency, and diagnostics across supplier ECUs
Coordinate with Tier-1 suppliers (e.g., braking/steering/suspension) and client ECUs to ensure interface alignment and change control
Lead requirements engineering: author, trace, and baseline System Requirements; manage change requests and impact analyses
Architectural updates: drive model-based architecture (SysML/UML), define interfaces, and produce system description artifacts
Validation planning support: define V&V strategies aligned to left side of the V; collaborate on HIL/SIL, integration, and vehicle-level tests
Document and publish SoW, assumptions, constraints, and risk register; report progress and metrics weekly
Onsite collaboration: to finalize scoping with customer stakeholders and continue support

Required

Bachelor's/Master's in Automotive, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Robotics, or Computer Science
10–14 years in commercial vehicle (trucks/buses) systems engineering; strong ADAS and Chassis domain exposure
Hands-on experience with vehicle networks (CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet), diagnostics, and ECU integration
Proficiency with requirements management tools (DOORS/Jama), architecture/modeling tools (Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect), and configuration/change control
Working knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262), J1939, ASPICE processes, and regulatory frameworks relevant to commercial vehicles
Demonstrated cross-supplier coordination; ability to lead technical discussions and resolve interface issues
Excellent stakeholder communication; ability to create clear, concise technical documentation and SoWs

Preferred

Experience with Autonomous Driving System interfaces and high-complex ECUs
Exposure to vehicle-level integration, ACC/AEB tuning, and test planning at proving grounds
Familiarity with agile at scale (Scrum/Kanban), Jira/Azure DevOps, and engineering KPIs
