This role will act as the single point of contact between business and IT, ensuring alignment of architecture, delivery, and long-term roadmap while leading teams through successful solution implementation.

Responsibilities
Define and drive the technology vision and solution strategy for assigned business domains or platforms
Lead end-to-end solution analysis, architecture design, planning, and implementation using a holistic approach
Act as the primary liaison (SPOC) between business stakeholders and IT teams
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Data Architects, and fellow Architects to align architecture with product roadmaps
Design scalable, secure, and high-performing microservice-based solutions
Translate business requirements into technical architecture, epics, and user stories
Work closely with Data Architects on data modeling and table design; create data contracts/specifications for data engineering teams
Lead and guide development teams during solution implementation and delivery
Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate emerging technologies and architectural approaches
Present complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Promote reusability and inner sourcing across teams and projects
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, driving adoption where appropriate
Work across multiple projects, ensuring alignment, quality, and timely delivery
Demonstrate strong ownership, collaboration, integrity, and commitment to organizational goals
Qualification
Required
15+ years of overall IT experience
5–7+ years of hands-on Solution Architecture experience
Strong experience in Agile / Lean development methodologies
Proven ability to lead cross-functional and globally distributed teams
Expertise in solution architecture, high-level design documentation, and domain-driven design
Strong experience designing REST-based microservices architectures
Experience decomposing solutions into domains and managing large-scale implementations
Excellent hands-on experience with AWS services
Good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and RedHat OpenShift
Strong proficiency in Java and Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot)
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
Strong experience with Kafka or event-driven messaging platforms
Solid understanding of object-oriented and procedural programming concepts
