Responsibilities
Develop and implement cost standards for materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead and keep updated in ERP system
Develop and analyze standard cost report suite to include material usage and manufacturing variances and enable root cause analysis
Monitor and report on inventory levels, production costs, and returns
Conduct and oversee regular physical inventory cycle counts and reconciliations
Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to identify, quantify, and track cost-saving opportunities
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly and annual financial statements in an accurate and timely manner and in line with US GAAP
Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
Ensures procedures and internal controls are followed in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and assist with audit and compliance activities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably with 2-3 years in a manufacturing and equipment/engineering environment
Strong working knowledge of inventory cycle counts and cost accounting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to create and analyze financial reports and forecasts
Ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse groups cross-functionally
Detail oriented, organized, a demonstrated focus on process improvement, and ability to work on multiple tasks/projects concurrently
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ownership mentality
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel
Preferred
Experience with Power BI is an advantage
Experience using Dynamics AX a plus
