Responsibilities
Manage heavy civil and infrastructure projects from award through completion
Serve as the primary point of contact for public owners and stakeholders
Coordinate with owners, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal field teams
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
Review plans, specifications, and contract documents for compliance
Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports
Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Support estimating and pre-construction efforts as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required)
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil construction
Direct experience working with public owners such as PennDOT and the PA Turnpike Commission
Strong understanding of DOT specifications, public bidding, and compliance requirements
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project timelines
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred
Experience managing roadway, bridge, or transportation infrastructure projects
Familiarity with project management and scheduling software
Background working on publicly funded construction projects
