Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of business strategy development for the Individual Investing distribution unit, from initial discovery and business case creation through program activation and post-implementation impact reviews, ensuring strategies are market-relevant and deliver measurable business value
Serve as a visible leader and subject matter expert in financial services and wealth management, leveraging deep industry knowledge and market insights to shape initiatives, identify opportunities, and ensure competitive value propositions for individual investors
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and peers across the firm, acting as a liaison to align cross-functional teams, facilitate decision-making, and ensure transparency and accountability in program execution
Oversee and direct multiple teams of program and project managers, recruiting and developing talent to foster a high-performing, strategically focused workforce that supports both current and future business needs
Allocate and manage resources for complex, multi-departmental programs, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using comprehensive market data and financial analysis, proactively recommending course corrections, and reporting outcomes to senior leadership
Develop and implement best practices, frameworks, and tools for strategic program management, ensuring all initiatives adhere to established methodologies and deliver consistent value
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND -12+ years of total relevant work experience and 5+ years of management experience
Preferred
Experience in financial services and/or wealth management preferred
Experience in strategy development and leading project teams, including corporate strategy and/or consulting
Deep people leadership experience
Strong communication skills and ability to influence thinking at executive levels
Ability to gain buy-in and alignment across multiple stakeholders
Experience in project management solutions and systems
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and student of the industry
Experience working in a dynamic work environment, leading change initiatives and adaptive to necessary pivots as priorities shift
