Responsibilities

Design, build, and enhance Pega applications following enterprise architecture standards

Develop workflows, case types, integrations, UI components, and decisioning logic

Ensure solutions meet Bank of America’s security, compliance, and performance requirements

Participate in code reviews, solution design sessions, and sprint planning

Deploy, configure, and manage Pega applications on Red Hat OpenShift

Optimize containerized Pega workloads for performance, scalability, and resilience

Work closely with APSE platform teams to ensure alignment with CI/CD pipelines, container standards, and cloud governance

Troubleshoot container, pod, and cluster-level issues impacting Pega services

Build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, Kafka, and internal APIs

Ensure secure communication and compliance with Bank of America integration patterns

Support production deployments, incident resolution, and root cause analysis

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for Pega services running on OpenShift

Contribute to automation of build, deployment, and testing processes

Work closely with APSE engineering, architecture, DevOps, and application teams

Provide technical guidance and best practices for Pega and OpenShift usage

Communicate effectively with global teams across time zones

Qualification

Required

5+ years of hands-on Pega development experience (CSA/CSSA preferred)

Strong expertise in deploying and managing Pega on Red Hat OpenShift

Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Ansible, or similar)

Design, build, and enhance Pega applications following enterprise architecture standards

Develop workflows, case types, integrations, UI components, and decisioning logic
