Responsibilities
Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical staff
Providing motivation and assistance when necessary
Inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical staff
Reading and interpreting design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems
Troubleshooting major system failures and equipment malfunctions
Repairing and maintaining electrical equipment
Overseeing the purchasing and maintenance of the electrical equipment on-site
Ensuring the work is completed on schedule and to code
Maintaining a safe and clean work area
Consulting with builders, architects, and other workers on-site
Works well in Excel, Microsoft Projects, Bluebeam, Procore, and Outlook email
This position may require a shift schedule including 2nd shift
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to obtain a Florida State JLA (Jessica Lunsford Act) Badge
7+ years of commercial electrical experience
2+ years of commercial site Supervisor experience with projects $500,000+
Previous leadership experience with crew sizes of 6 or more
Able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel
OSHA 10 required
Preferred
Journeyman's license
OSHA 30
