Responsibilities

Provide manufacturing input to design engineering to assure component designs are produceable & facilitate design for manufacturer supplier events
Represent manufacturing perspective regarding component sourcing strategy
Work with Procurement & Quality organization to stand up new suppliers
Develop & conduct supplier manufacturing readiness and technical risk assessments
Provide support to supplier with respect to quality requirements (APQP, FAIR, PPAP; Drawing Alteration Requests, SABRe)
Perform supplier hardware delivery source inspections
Create the environment for continuous improvement with the emphasis on sharing and searching for best practice

Required

Associate degree in Engineering, Technology or Business with 4+ years of experience within Operations, Manufacturing, Quality or Purchasing
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or Business with 2+ years of experience within Operations, Manufacturing, Quality or Purchasing
Master's degree in Engineering, Technology or Business
JD/PhD in Engineering, Technology or Business
6+ years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Quality or Purchasing in lieu of a degree
In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred

Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma Black Belt
Strong understanding of SABRe, FAIR, PPAP requirements
Experience operating within a global manufacturing environment
Controls and hydromechanical component manufacturing experience with certification processes
Experience in robust design methodologies and design of manufacturing tooling, gaging, and fixtures
Demonstrated experience working with suppliers to delivering world class manufacturing performance
