The role involves designing and developing engineering protection and control for substations, participating in meetings, and attending relevant training sessions.

Responsibilities
Design and develop new and existing substation engineering protection and control for distribution and/or transmission stations
Participate in meetings with internal and external departments/vendors
Attend trainings related to engineering, safety, and leadership
Support the RTU team when needed
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in: Engineering
The successful applicant should be enrolled in an ABET accredited university or college undergraduate or a graduate level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline
A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required
To qualify as a co-op student, enrollment in the university's co-op program is a must
To qualify for a substation engineering co-op position, the candidate must have successfully completed their junior year at an ABET accredited Institution
Able to organize, develop and write professional documents
