Responsibilities

Work with Labs to train and create aesthetically and technically correct restorative and cosmetic designs based on patient records
Collaborate with dentists and dental laboratories on ortho-restorative treatment plans
Participate in the further development and optimization of our processes and products
Lead internal and external training, onboarding of employees, testing scenarios and databases, and conceptualizing and developing automated test procedures
Support R&D department in further developing and improving all our products by constantly testing the software, and by relying on suggestions and complaints, as well as any feedback from our customers
Provide resellers, distributors, and key opinion leaders with support
Conduct reseller training courses and software demonstrations worldwide, online, and classroom training on site or at our offices. Report on the training courses held and related to the certification of customers
Represent our company and our products in a friendly and competent manner at trade fairs and other events worldwide

Required

6+ years of dental or dental lab education and experience focused on digital workflows
Experience in both basic and more complex customer support as well as software training
Demonstrable experience working with exocad software, ideally certification or in-depth knowledge in this area
Strong presentation and training skills
Practical experience with exocad Smile Creator for aesthetic design using patient photos is advantageous
Excellent CAD skills for variety of dental procedures including complex ortho-restorative treatment requiring highly aesthetic results
Knowledge and experience in the field of orthodontics
Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external partners
Independent working style and desire for continuous education
Willingness to travel up to 40%

Paid vacation of up to 17 days during the first full year of employment (currently accrued at the rate of 5.24 hours each pay-period), which carries over to a maximum cap of 30 days. Annual paid vacation time accrual increases based on tenure.
Sick time is accrued throughout the year at the rate of one hour for every thirty worked. Employees can carry over unused sick leave each year, up to a maximum balance of 80 hours.
11 Company-designated paid holidays throughout the year.
If employed for at least 12 consecutive months, Align will grant up to 6 weeks of paid Parental Leave. If employed for less than 12 consecutive months, Align will grant up to 4 weeks of paid Parental Leave.
Three days of paid bereavement leave.
Non-exempt employees will receive full pay for up to 10 days of jury duty.
