Global Trade Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities

Maintain and analyze customs master data in SAP/GTS and related systems
Manage product classifications, country of origin, FDA/CFIA requirements, and commercial descriptions
Maintain imported/exported material lists and broker databases
Support Free Trade Agreement (FTA) eligibility, including USMCA and other global FTAs
Monitor and update sourcing changes
Perform Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification
Determine country of origin and marking compliance
Identify Partner Government Agency (PGA) requirements and manage compliance affirmations
Coordinate permits and licenses with cross-functional teams
Support reconciliation entries and stay current on regulatory updates
Conduct post-summary audits (HTS, COO, valuation, recordkeeping)
Generate ACE reports, KPIs, and compliance metrics
Participate in cross-functional projects as needed
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve customs clearance delays

Required

Hands-on experience in global trade compliance or customs operations
Strong expertise in HTS classification, country of origin determination, reconciliation, and FTAs
Experience managing large datasets using tools such as SAP GTS/S4, Power BI, Access, and Microsoft Office
Solid understanding of import/export regulations and broker operations
Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
