Business Development Specialist
Proforma is a $650 million industry leader in promotional products and branded solutions. They are seeking a Business Development Specialist to generate high-quality appointments for Distributor Owners through outbound prospecting, requiring strong communication skills and a results-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
Execute high-volume outbound calling to warm and cold prospects to introduce Proforma and its solutions
Qualify prospects, uncover needs, and secure appointments
Consistently achieve a target of 115+ outbound calls per day
Meet weekly performance goals of 15 scheduled appointments, with 50%+ kept and successful outcomes
Leverage approved scripts, messaging guidelines, and objection-handling techniques while maintaining a natural and professional conversation flow
Accurately document all call activity, notes, and outcomes in CRM
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting
Collaborate closely with your manager and peers to share best practices and improve results
Participate in ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback sessions
Qualification
Required
3+ years of outbound calling or inside sales experience (B2B preferred)
Proven ability to work in a high-activity, metric-driven environment
Confident, professional phone presence with strong listening skills
Clear, concise verbal and written communication abilities
Highly organized with strong time-management skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Team-oriented mindset with a positive, proactive attitude
