Responsibilities

Plan, design, review, and manage stormwater projects to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Review development and construction plans for stormwater management, drainage, erosion control, and water quality requirements
Serve as the City’s lead representative for stormwater components of development projects, coordinating with engineers, developers, and multiple City departments
Analyze engineering data and prepare technical reports, specifications, permits, cost estimates, and project documentation
Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved plans and stormwater standards
Respond to technical inquiries from contractors, staff, and the public with professionalism and clarity
Assist with project tracking, invoicing, grant applications, and stormwater related policies and procedures
Support or oversee staff, as applicable, including training and performance feedback at the Engineer III level
Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development to stay current with stormwater best practices and regulations
