Responsibilities
Data entry for creation of shipments
Tracking and tracing throughout the shipment’s lifecycle
Resolve daily issues like shipment delays or billing to maintain seamless operations
Quoting, routing, and negotiating carrier rates
Setting profitable customer sell rates
Handling documentation (BOLS, PLs, Commercial Invoices, Import/Export Docs, Airline Docs, etc.)
Emailing customer daily shipment statuses
Gathering billing charges and invoicing customers
Qualification
Required
Experience with utilizing customer TMS (SAP experience preferred)
Email management; proficiency in OUTLOOK
Must possess experience in Microsoft office
Minimum of 3-5 years in Freight Forwarding customer facing operations
3-5 years expertise in booking freight (routing, line hauls, courier, etc.)
Problem solving and strong trouble shooting mindset
Strong operational background
Project management (non construction) and/or Account Management experience
Able to work overtime and weekends if needed
Preferred
SAP experience
