Responsibilities
Lead prototype and first-article builds of new hardware products
Collaborate closely with design and manufacturing teams to bring concepts to life
Take on hands-on responsibilities including CAD revisions, GD&T, drawings, and BOMs
Support the build-out and optimization of a new prototyping and testing facility
Troubleshoot, test, and refine early-stage hardware
Qualification
Required
Background in mechanical design engineering
Strong hands-on build, testing, and troubleshooting skills
Proficient in CAD with solid understanding of GD&T, materials, and tolerances
Experience within a high-growth, fast-paced startup engineering environment
Aviation/aerospace industry background
