Correctional Case Manager (Tabor CI)
The N.C. Department of Adult Correction is responsible for the care and supervision of adults sentenced for violating North Carolina laws. The Correctional Case Manager will carry a caseload of offenders, providing supportive counseling, conducting assessments, and developing case plans to assist in their rehabilitation and re-entry into the community.

Responsibilities
Providing recommendations to the classification committee
Assisting in major dynamic programs or coordination major or specialized programs for the rehabilitation of offenders, such as offender work assignments, work release, education, or recreation
Planning and coordination transition (re-entry) prior to parole or release into the community
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Recreation or a related field from an appropriately accredited institution
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of custody experience within the North Carolina Department of Public Safety
An equivalent combination of training and experience
Knowledge of supportive counseling techniques
MUST be eligible for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission
