Human Resources Manager
AVE by Korman Communities is a family-owned real estate brand dedicated to delivering exceptional living experiences. They are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Human Resources Manager to support their growing HR team, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes and elevating the HR function across their nationwide teams.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the Vice Presidents of HR, ensuring smooth, compliant, and impeccable execution of all HR processes
Bring a positive attitude and adaptability to a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
Have exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of state and federal employment laws, including experience with jurisdictions such as NY and CA
Partner with team members at all levels and collaborate within a multidisciplinary HR team
Be a self-starter who anticipates needs and takes action without needing to be prompted
Deliver luxury service to teams, maintaining absolute confidentiality with all team member information
Coach leaders through first-level employee relations matters and provide practical, compliant guidance
Maintain strong organization and prioritization — from maintaining employee files to coordinating HR workflows
Manage HRIS platforms and troubleshoot inquiries before escalating to technical support
Identify HR process gaps and propose actionable, scalable improvements
Be comfortable being the 'gatekeeper' for the HR team inbox, ensuring messages are routed quickly and accurately
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, genuinely enjoy building relationships
Support Workers’ Compensation claims across multiple states
Work with dispersed or remote teams and accommodate business needs across multiple time zones
Document conversations, coach leaders, and escalate concerns appropriately
Uphold high professional standards and contribute to special projects, events, or initiatives that bring teams together
Embrace continuous learning and support people and culture
Adjust priorities with ease as business needs evolve
Qualification
Required

Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience in hospitality, real estate, or multifamily housing is a plus
Experience supporting a remote or distributed workforce
Background in HR operations across multiple states and time zones
