IT Analyst II
The University of Florida is seeking an IT Analyst II to support their IT governance, risk analysis, and compliance efforts. The role involves participating in the creation and maintenance of enterprise governance documentation, conducting risk analysis, and supporting user education and disaster avoidance programs.

Responsibilities
Participate in, and support efforts to create, modify, and maintain enterprise governance documentation, including: policies, standards, baselines, best practices, and guidelines
Support the UF and UF Health risk management practices and programs by conducting risk analysis and reporting results to stakeholders using problem solving, analytical thinking, information capture, workflow analysis and business acumen
Support the UF and UF Health IT compliance efforts, working with enterprise tools and units to ensure UF complies with internal and external governing bodies
Support the education and training of UF and UF Health staff regarding IT and Security user education programs
Participate in developing IT disaster avoidance and incident response programs to protect the university’s assets
Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Engage in research and self-study for professional development
Communicate and interact with peers and staff
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience
Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience
Preferred
A bachelor's degree and two years of professional information technology experience
Work experience in an information security or information technology role may replace education requirements on a year-for-year basis
Information security experience is strongly preferred
