Responsibilities
Analyze insurance product requests and system issues to assess feasibility, impact, and next steps
Support P&C product changes involving rates, rules, and forms
Develop functional specifications, user stories, and business requirements
Partner with Product Development and Business Systems Architects on solution design
Configure system components (tables, rules, or product settings) as needed
Design and execute test cases; support unit and UAT testing
Identify and track defects through resolution
Support delivery activities, status reporting, and production validation
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance, preferably in product, underwriting, or business systems support
Strong understanding of P&C rates, rules, and forms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience working with complex product logic or algorithms is a plus
Experience writing functional specifications and supporting testing
Working knowledge of Agile processes
Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps or similar
Strong communication and collaboration skills
