Network Technician
InfoStride is seeking a Network Technician to provide support for network-related issues and infrastructure projects. The role involves responding to help desk tickets, participating in on-call support rotations, and assisting with network rollouts and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Respond to and resolve help desk tickets related to:
Wired and wireless network issues
Network account onboarding and offboarding via custom scripts
Infrastructure-related incidents
Level 1 Support: On-call every 3 weeks for critical site support (network outages)
Level 2 Support: On-call every 3 weeks (alternating with Level 1) for escalated issues at critical sites
Assist in network rollouts, upgrades, and cleanup efforts
Participate in planning and execution of infrastructure improvements
Support documentation and inventory of network assets
Provide support for Microsoft administrative tasks, including:
Entra ID (Azure AD) management
Group Policy and user provisioning
Microsoft 365 administration
Assist with server administration tasks, including:
Basic Windows Server maintenance
Monitoring and performance tuning
Patch management and updates
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID
5+ years of Microsoft administration
5+ years of experience in Windows Server environments
10+ years of troubleshooting networking issues (wired and wireless)
5+ years of customer service experience
Preferred
Experience with wiring closets
Experience with Ruckus switches
Experience with Deskpro Ticketing System
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
