Responsibilities
Support the daily business of client coverage, trade execution and trade support for the Financial Sponsors team
Participate in the execution, booking and post-trade support of the desk’s daily trades
Identify the market trends, develop market views and prepare market updates
Collaborate and consult with internal partners and interact directly with clients
Develop an understanding of the fundamentals of credit risk concepts
Help manage the client onboarding process
Qualification
Required
6+ months of Markets experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Preferred
A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field
6+ months of banking experience preferably in a sales & trading capacity
Strong interest in global macro markets
Basic understanding of FX products such as FX Forwards, Options, Swaps and Cross-Currency Swaps
Familiarity with credit risk concepts; CVA/DVA/FVA
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Attention to detail and organization
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and work under pressure
