Responsibilities
Execute a broad range of device evaluations, including characteristic testing, performance assessments, packaging integrity testing, and environmental conditioning studies
Perform blood-based testing using bovine and human blood to model clinically relevant and surgical-use conditions
Perform all laboratory work in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards
Maintain accurate, complete, and legible documentation of all testing activities, observations, and results
Update and revise laboratory documents, protocols, and forms within the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and operational checks on laboratory equipment and analytical instruments
Maintain laboratory supplies, reagents, and consumables to support uninterrupted testing operations
Record, analyze, and interpret test data using laboratory software, spreadsheets, and statistical tools
Prepare data summaries, charts, and reports to support engineering, R&D, and quality teams
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in Biology or related scientific field OR 3+ years of laboratory experience
Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and adherence to regulated processes
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred
Hands-on laboratory experience preferred, especially in medical device, biomedical, or GLP environments
Familiarity with blood handling and mechanical testing equipment
Proficiency with laboratory software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office applications
