Responsibilities

Perform core PLM administration tasks with minimal supervision
Maintain awareness and working knowledge of company IT hardware and supporting software systems
Coordinate with hardware vendors, software vendors, third-party support teams, and internal IT stakeholders to ensure PLM system availability and reliability
Administer and support Teamcenter (TC) functionality, including configuration management, data management, naming conventions, and workflow roles
Develop and enhance processes and procedures for effective use and expansion of Teamcenter as an integrated PLM solution
Support CAD file management and document management, including part creation, change control, and assembly integration
Enable secure access for internal users, partners, and subcontractors while ensuring authentication, authorization, and data integrity
Maintain and monitor Development, Integration, Quality Assurance, and Production environments
Track and evaluate new Teamcenter modules, features, and upgrades
Plan and coordinate system upgrades, including installations and testing with vendor or third-party support
Manage licenses, renewals, and annual maintenance
Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions within Teamcenter
Provide day-to-day user support and troubleshoot PLM-related issues
Escalate unresolved technical issues to vendors or OEMs as required
Develop and deliver effective training for end users and administrators
Maintain detailed and up-to-date user guides and system documentation
Optimize Teamcenter usability to improve user experience and efficiency
Participate in configuration and change management meetings as required
Promote quality, compliance, and best practices in system usage
Maintain professional communication and collaboration with all stakeholders
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Typically 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management or PLM administration
Experience supporting PLM implementations customized to business or contract requirements
Solid understanding of configuration management, change control, and document management within a PLM environment
Experience setting up and managing workflows in Teamcenter
Familiarity with 3D CAD tools and management of models, assemblies, and files within PLM systems
Technical knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., NX), IT infrastructure (servers, storage, backups, security), and product data management tools
Programming experience with C/C++ and Java
Ability to write basic scripts using batch files and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, or Python
Experience performing system customization (programming changes) and configuration (BMIDE changes, property file updates)

Preferred

Experience with Siemens Team Center preferred
