Responsibilities

Collaborate with the leadership in Google Global Infrastructure (GGI), cross-functional teams to collect requirements, define product and key user journeys

Lead the technical design and execution of the projects, ensuring alignment with the data architecture strategy. Contribute to all phases of the software development life-cycle, from requirements gathering to production support

Identify and advocate for improvements to data quality, system architecture, and engineering practices within GGI

Mentor the engineers and contribute to code reviews and best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction

3 years of experience working in a global organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects
